SRAM XX Left Disc Brake Review
Avid set out to build the best disc brake possible and ended up redefining high performance stoppers with the XX Disc Brake. Oversized pistons housed in an ultralight magnesium caliper put a stranglehold on the two-piece rotor so you get eyeball-elongating stops. Avid could have called it good with those advancements alone, but the company continued in its pursuit of the ultimate stoppers by employing titanium hardware, a carbon lever blade, tool-free pad contact adjustment, and powerful TaperBore technology .
